I am looking for a Midlands based machine tool service engineer, to join a small but growing team within a machine tool company in the Midlands.
The role will become more managerial/office based as time goes by and more engineers are added to the team. Therefore, applicants must be capable of admin/managerial responsibilities which will grow.
Initially the role is field service/breakdown but the successful candidate will be in the office 1-2 days a week and time is managed sensibly for external visits which means this would suit a service engineer looking to cut down on extensive travel.
Ideal requirements:
- Electrical & mechanical service experience
- Comfortable talking to customers for telephone support and organize visits/diary.
- Happy dealing with suppliers discussing breakdowns/repairs & spares.
