£32k-£38k plus car and overtime (Average earnings £55k-£59k)
My clients are a global manufacturer of high precision machine tools for milling, turning, boring and grinding. They represent market leading machines and have an HQ in Europe and various manufacturing plants. The role they seek to fill is a Mechanical Service Engineer to carry out the installation, service and repair of 5 axis machine tools. Work will be throughout the UK and on occasion, in Europe
The role involves (but is not limited to) fault finding, diagnosing and correcting errors on large 5 axis CNC Milling Machine Tools. In also includes assembling, setting up and dismantling hydraulic, pneumatic and large mechanical assemblies.
Ideally, you will be time served and have worked in a similar position; either within a machine tool organisation or in the maintenance side of the industry. You should be able to work alone and have excellent communication skills.
In addition, you should be used to working away from home for periods of time and be happy to travel. A strong location for candidate would be the West Midlands and close to the motorway network for easy access for the whole of the UK.
